Hello and welcome to GrowLocal Lafayette!
We are a network of gardeners across the greater Lafayette, Indiana area devoted to building, nourishing, and nurturing our community through the growth of urban gardens.
Our mission and vision is to:
- Increase food security
- Provide food education
- Enhance neighborhood development
We try to accomplish this by building and operating large food sharing gardens in the food desert area surrounding downtown Lafayette. Everyone is welcome to visit any of our sharing gardens.
At GrowLocal, we don’t just grow food; we grow community. Our gardens are more than just plots of land—they are spaces for healing, equity, and inclusion for all. We are committed to:
- Access: Breaking down barriers to healthy food.
- Honor: Recognizing the Indigenous People who first stewarded this land.
- Action: Turning vacant spaces into vibrant, inclusive neighborhoods.
