Given the success of our Seed Money fundraiser last fall, we have applied again and will begin the campaign on November 15th at 12 p.m. if we are among the 101 organizations selected.
We will keep you posted!
GrowLocal needs you to help out with our current fundraiser. We are participating in SeedMoney’s 30-day Giving Gardens Challenge is running from Nov 15 to Dec 15. SeedMoney is a Maine-based nonprofit providing grants, crowdfunding opportunities and training to food garden projects across the country and around the world.
We hope to raise $600 dollars over the next month, and SeedMoney will give us an extra $400 grant if we are one of the projects that raises money the fastest.

Grow Local is hosting a special workshop outlining the basics of WordPress, a free and easy-to-use blog and website-building service. This will take place at MatchBOX Coworking Studio, on Saturday, July 15, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
This workshop will cover the basics of setting up a WordPress site and uploading/managing content. We will go over how to:
- Set up an account
- Choose a useful design template
- Upload documents and photos
- Create pages and posts for content
- Manage and edit content
We are making this available to members of GrowLocal for free and for non-members for only $10. Any money we make on the workshop will go toward paying the annual fee for our own WordPress website.
NOTE: Please bring a laptop to this workshop so that you can work through each of these tasks and receive individualized help (if you have questions) at the end of the session.
RSVP: Please RSVP to email@example.com as soon as possible: slots are limited to 25 participants!
